Is a facebook themed party a dumb/corny idea?

-The invitation would be on facebook of course.

-When people got there we would hand out foam fingers or something for "poke wars"

-There would be "event" signs telling people to do different stuff like "You are invited to play rockband RSVP attending not attending maybe attending" stuff like that.

-There would be a sign on the food that said "Chicken nuggets is now in a relationship with bbq sauce" or something.

-There would decorations on the walls like "my photos" where i would hang pics with me and my friends.

Can I bake, stack and frost a cake tonight and decorate it tomorrow?

I have a cake that I am making for a friend for her daughter's birthday party friday. It sort of looks like this:

The only difference is the cake will be covered in buttercream not fondant. Would it be okay to bake stack and ice the cake tonight and then put the decorations on it tomorrow. I don't plan on adding the numbers on top or the other gum paste figures until friday because I don't want them to soften on the buttercream.

Is it an electrical code violation to have the breaker panel inaccessible due to basement clutter?

I was at a friend's house yesterday, and her circuit breaker panel is located in a storage room in the basement. The room is completely cluttered with junk, and just to get to the breaker panel, one must climb all over the clutter (toys, boxes of knick-knacks, Christmas decorations, usual garage sale stuff). My friend's sister was drying her hair in the bathroom, and the breaker tripped. I resetted it, but it took me 3 minutes just to get over all the junk in the room to reach the breaker panel.

Is this an electrical code violation?

Wedding bouquet to match table decorations...ideas?

I really want these centrpieces, it is 3 long stemmed orchids in a large round fish bowl with a few inches of water in the bottom. Simple and elegant, however, I dont want orchid bouquets, any suggestions for bouquets or other flowers to put in the centrepieces?

I'm building a bird house for some sparrows. I wanted to put it high on a pole in front of my bedroom window. Would it be okay if we made the back out of plexiglass so we could see them? This is not necessarily for decoration but a home for the birds. Will having a clear back wall make them feel unsafe and not want to live there?

My husband drives me insane and ignores me?

I don't want to be in a boring marriage where we just sit around and do everything together. I have my own interests and friends and so does he, the problem is, he only cares about himself. For the whole labor day weekend he has spent all of his time with my brother. They go out mountain biking, we share one car, I'm left here stuck in our house for hours. He also goes out golfing for hours on end and makes all of his plans without me. He tells me he will be done at a certain time, but never is. I have plans to go out today and I need the car, but he is late and doesn't care. He never apologizes. For his birthday I ran around trying to get him the perfect cake with the perfect golf decorations and I was told that he doesn't like cake and he never ate a single piece of the cake at all. I was so hurt by that, I tried to do something nice and he just said he didn't want it. Last night he spent the night drinking and smoking pot. He acts like an 18 year old. I really don't care what he does or nag, but lately things have just gotten out of control, after spending the day riding and hanging out with my brother, I found a beer bottle in our bathroom, I mean come on, it's not a frat house. Things are getting ridiculous and his behavior is just down-right embarrassing. I just wonder why he doesn't care about me an doesn't respect me feelings at all. Is this normal? Am I being stupid about this?

Why won't my live-in boyfriend consider "his house" to be OUR house?

While I was in school, I visited on the weekends and we weren't permanently living together. Now that summer is here and I'm going to school close by, we live together full time. I pay the internet bill and the electric bill and half the rent when I can afford it, I buy groceries, I cook, I clean, I help take care of our animals and half the furnishings and decorations here are mine. But whenever I say the phrase "our house" he corrects me by saying that this is "HIS house". Why does he feel the need to do this?

ok ive asked this question before but no one really gave me a reason. but ok someone i know is willing to sell me his baby ball python with his i think 40 gallon tank and with the lights and heating and decorations and everything for $175 i am wondering if i should get it is that a good price? and im 12 so will it get too big and to where i wouldn't be able to hold it? and again i was thinking of a small little corn snake for me to hold and play with and cool to watch but which would i save on setting up on everything? corn snake or ball python? and monthly wise on food? and which would be a better beginner snake never owned one before. and for a 12 year old

For my 21st birthday I'm planning a dinner, Japanese/Oriental theme, whichever works best.
