Question #1:

My rabbit won't litter train..?

I have a 6 year old mini lop names Precious. I've had her since she was born, but she's always been an outside pet. I feel terrible because I've kind of neglected her, treating her more like a chore, but I really do love her to death. Recently, me and my boyfriend decided that we wanted to move her inside. So right now we have her in one of those play pen gates, with now roof or floor. I put just a shoe box in there with news paper and some pellets to see if she'd use it as a litter box, but she goes all over the place, not in one designated area.. I've heard that rabbits are clean animals and will normally adjust to going potty in one spot on their own, but she just goes where ever she wants I guess... Am I missing something? Is it just because she's not spayed? How much is it to get a rabbit spayed, and are there any vets with rabbit experience in Northern Utah? I know of two in Salt Lake, but it would be easier on me if I could find somewhere a bit more north.. (I live in West Haven, about a half hour west of Ogden)

I would prefer to spay her, but I'm not really financially stable and I probably couldn't afford it, I'd have to save up to do it so I don't spend all of my check at one time, so till then what would be some good ideas for flooring? I plan on making a condo out of those Neat Idea Cubes, and I'd like something that was easy to clean but looked nice for the floors. Right now we have towels with newspapers on top, but she insists on tearing up the newspaper and stuffing them in her box. She's very destructive, but I don't blame her. She hasn't really had entertainment most of her life, but she's making my job a lot harder ha ha

Anyways, I've sort of trained a rabbit before.. My first rabbit, Potter, was half Flemish giant half new Zealand. He was also an outside rabbit, but I brought him inside 2-3 times a week to play. I know you should let them have 4 hours a day, but hey, I was a kid and I didn't really know. But I know that he was a very happy rabbit. When I noticed he was about to go in the house, I'd say "no", lightly tap him on the nose and imminently take him outside to his hutch. He caught on pretty quickly, and never went in the house again. When he needed to go, he'd sit by the backdoor and thump until I noticed him. I'd take him out, let him do his business, and bring him back in. He really hated it when I was mad at him, because I was HIS human. So is that how I have to train her? With a little discipline?

Any feedback and tips would be very appreciated :) Also, if you know of any neat ideas to make toys. Like I said, she's very destructive and even tried to tear apart a crack in my door! One idea I had was make a hemp hang with big wood beads to chew and some little sleigh bells. Or, an online boutique or something that makes rabbit toys and sells them for a reasonable price. I know about The Bunny Bunch boutique, and I'd love to find more places that have a wide selection of fun things and they're cheap! So if you know of any please let me know :) Sorry about the long ass "question"!

To the one intelligent answer, thank you. I thought a spay would be a lot more then that. I'll probably just get nice flooring so she can go where ever (in her cage) cause you're right, she's been outside her whole life and probably thinks it's okay. It's my fault, so I'm not going to punish her.

Oh, and the tap on the nose, I never used any force, just a light tap so I know I wasn't hurting him and I didn't even have to do it that often cause he was a fast learner.
lperry11 the only thing is, is she goes all over :/ in her hutch outside, I noticed she mostly went on one half of the cage, but inside, so goes where ever she happens to be when she needs to go.. I know it'll take time and I probably do need to get her spayed, so for now I'm just going to get good water proof flooring in case I can never train her..

I'll share mine.

I must have been 6 or 7 years old. I don't really remember my brother as part of this, so he might have only been a baby. We had been unwrapping presents and mom was making breakfast, and my father came running in the house yelling that we had to do outside and look. So out I go, in jacket, slippers, and nightgown, to look at our roof. There were sleigh-tracks in the snow on the roof! The snow was probably at least a foot deep. There weren't any footprints from the patio roof to the roof of the house, which would have been the easy way to put tracks up there. To this day I'm not sure how it happened, to be honest. I still clearly remember how excited I was to see those tracks, and proof that Santa had visited our house!

what are some fun ways to exercise my horse?

My horse (Norman) and I are getting kind of bored with just riding all the time...he knows how to pull carts...and im interested in endurance riding lol he know's how to bow kiss and hug also. my family races horses so we have a 1/2 mile sand track. I want some fun ideas to keep him in shape and switch it up a little...like having him pull me in a sled (not a sleigh) through the deep sand and up hills...ect. or me on his back and having him pull a wagon of water behind us...this will come in handy lol so if u guys have any ideas just let me know...and also any ways to teach him to lay down on command with out forcing him to....i want him to enjoy what he's doing lol thanks so much :)

Hello I'm doing my daughters bedroom up..She wants a cup cake style room and I'm teaming shabby chic with it...I cannot decide what style of bed to go for..

Should I go for a white wooden bed with a sleigh cot bed at the foot of the bed being used as a seat?

Should I have a wrought iron style bed with a wrought iron seat at the foot of the bed...

Should I have a standard single bed with a wrought iron head board (bought separately) with either the sleigh cot-bed or wrought iron seat..

It has been driving me mad!!!! I loved watching this when i was a child but have no idea what it was called or even if it was a film.... It was only a one-off i think as im sure my mum recorded it but the only bit i can remember is santa was in jail, there was a small external window with bars and a young boy with santas sleigh and reindeer tied a rope from the sleigh to the bars. He then rid the sleigh and pulled the bars away and the wall came crashing down.. santa then escaped and went of in the sleigh with the little boy.....please please can someone let me no if they ever watched something like this. even if you dont no the name just let me no if you remember anything...it is driving me crazy!!!!! lol

Last summer, my sister and I watched a lot of youtube videos of this one girl(she was asian and spanish i think)made numerous videos. Some were soft curls, curls, french manicure, room tour, train case, and stuff like that. One of the things that might define her is in her room tour, she has a white sleigh bed with a fuzzy pink blanket on it and when she opens her closet, her bra fell out or something like that. How do I strip paint from a light wood dresser?

I had a nice pine dresser with a matching sleigh bed from the 90's when I was kid. Then I got sent away to boarding school and my mom painted over it in this god awful satiny gold color and gave it to my sister. I'm taking it back to my new place and I wanna restore so it can look the way it did when I first got it. Unfortunately, I've got no idea what I'm doing and I don't wanna take any risks that might ruin it forever. So how can I strip the paint, completely, while preserving the wood? And it's got a glossy finish, which I like. What should I do about that?

I have a wood sleigh bed that has a middle support beam that latches onto the head and foot board. The beam hooks on to another metal set of brackets connected to either board... THE PROBLEM: the brackets squeak and make so much noise. Turning over, getting in and out bed anytime it squeaks!!!! How can I fix this??? Please help!!!
